Going through school in Birdville ISD, I was well prepared for anything I set my sights on after graduation. I never walked through the doors of a teacher who didn't believe in me - I was blessed to be taught by the finest. I am so thankful now to be able to continue to teach tomorrow's future leaders in the community that helped to raise me, but also to send my own child to school in such a student-led district. I know that just as I did growing up and just as my students do, my son is getting the best possible education and experiences he can come across, and as a parent, for that I am so thankful!
