TRAFFIC ALERT - FLORY & MANOR

Starting Tuesday, Oct. 14, Flory Street and Manor Drive will no longer be one-way during school drop-off and pickup times. The goal of this change is to improve traffic flow and reduce the current congestion Mullendore Elementary is experiencing. North Richland Hills PD will monitor the new traffic pattern for the next few weeks to see if this change helps.

Mullendore Elementary School is communicating the new traffic pattern to parents, and we also want to get the word out to residents who live on, or near, Flory and Manor. We ask all residents to drive with extra caution and patience as everyone adjusts to the new two-way flow.

If this temporary adjustment successfully eases congestion, we will make the change permanent by removing signs and amending the city ordinance through the City Council. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to make our streets safer and more efficient.

A teacher explains a concept written on a dry erase board.

"Being a part of Birdville ISD is coming full circle. It's like home. I'm a product of Birdville ISD - so it has a deep meaning for me. It's not just a workplace, it's a family. I feel supported by the students, the staff members, and the community. It's a special place to belong."

- Stephanie, Birdville ISD Alumni and Current Elementary Teacher
